About this policy

Khrusea provides website design, development, hosting and integration services. This policy explains how we handle personal information received through this website and related correspondence.

We aim to manage personal information openly and carefully, whether or not every requirement of the Privacy Act 1988 applies to a particular activity.

Information we collect

When you submit a project enquiry, we collect your name, email address, business name, the type of project you are considering and the details you choose to provide.

We may also receive correspondence and records created while discussing, quoting or delivering work. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as an IP address and request headers, to deliver and protect the website.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in the enquiry form unless it is genuinely necessary and we have agreed to receive it.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, understand a proposed project, prepare scopes or proposals, communicate with customers, operate and secure the website, meet legal obligations and maintain appropriate business records.

The automatic confirmation sent after an enquiry is a service message. We do not currently use enquiry details for marketing email or automated decisions that significantly affect a person.

Service providers and disclosure

We use trusted service providers where necessary to operate the website and communicate with you. These currently include Cloudflare for website delivery, security and email routing, Resend for transactional email delivery, and our business email provider.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or authorities when reasonably necessary or required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Some providers operate infrastructure outside Australia. Personal information may therefore be processed in other countries under the provider’s security and privacy arrangements.

Retention and security

If an enquiry does not become an active client engagement, we generally retain its records for 24 months after our last interaction and then delete or de-identify them when they are no longer reasonably required.

Records connected with an active client, completed project, transaction, dispute or legal obligation may be kept for longer where reasonably necessary or required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website use and performance. It may process the page path, referring website, country, device type, browser, operating system and page performance. We use this information to understand which pages are useful, identify technical problems and improve the website.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not track individual visitors across websites, log URL query strings or collect personal data for this service. It does not use advertising cookies or create profiles for targeted advertising.

Cloudflare may still use essential technical mechanisms to provide website security, reliability and network delivery. If we introduce advertising, personalised tracking or another analytics provider, we will update this policy and implement consent controls where they are required.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information that is no longer required. Some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons.

Email [email protected]. Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant record. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner .

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. The current version and its last updated date will remain available on this page.
